We as the Sith believe that there is a force that binds all life together, it connects us all one to another. This force is our "life energy" so to speak, not unlike the asian understanding of Ki. This force has been around since time began, every major religion accepts it yet they have a different name for it. We believe that this force guides us, yet yields to our requests as well. It can be simplified by saying if you want an apple to move, ask the force to move it and it will. By the same token if the apple needs to be moved for the balance to maintain the force will "ask" you to move the apple.
The Force has been called through out time Ki, Chi, Prana, Orgonne, all of which are described in a like manner and all can be a teacher and a servant. There are those who believe that the force is not to be used or to be controlled (IE: Jedi'ism) but we have come to understand it as a symbiotic relationship, both us and the force give and take, control and are controlled.
This force has two halves, the Dark side and the Light side. Most have come to recognize the light side as good and the dark side as evil, in reality the dark side is the full potential of the force and the light side is the watered down version. We have come to embrace the whole force and all of it's aspects rather than partial unity with this bond.
As with many past cultures that believed and learned about the force (by any name) we believe that with meditation and physical training we can achieve a level of human potential yet untapped.
Life is united by this bond, both in physical life and death and because of this we believe that everyone is connected to the force. Just as anyone can join the Sith Order, but we also believe that others have been chosen to be part of the greater picture. These chosen are the ones who climb the ranks of the sith, learning first then teaching.
We also believe that for there to be true balance there must be the constant light and dark side, without one the other could not exist. There will always be the two sides, but we can do our best to show all the true light....the Dark Side.
